Frog Buttress - Saturday 17/9

Thu Sep 08, 2016 5:36 pm

Back to frog!!

For those who made it last trip you know how much fun frog is, for those who didn't come find out what you're missing out on and discover the world of trad and crack climbing. Frog Buttress is on the western side of Mt French, an hour or so south/west from Brisbane and is the one of the best crack climbing locations in Australia. Please note that there are no sign-off requirements for this trip.

Climbs: There is a diverse range of difficulties available, but don't be fooled, trad and crack make any grade just a little more difficult. but they also make it a lot more fun.

Climbing gear:
Climbing shoes and chalk are pretty much essential for this type of climbing. Friction is everything. Tape is also helpful to keep your hands fresh.
For those who are in need of some gear, get in contact with our Quartermasters, Adam and Josiah and organise to borrow a seconder kit. Please ensure this is organised before Wednesday, This kit is essential for the trip so please get in contact with them as soon as possible.

Transport: We will be departing from KP at 6am sharp. Fuel money is $5 per way to the drivers.

Signup will be closing Thursday 15th at 7pm.
